The Dingle Whiskey Distillery is an independent family-owned business established In 2012, in County Kerry. The founders, Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley had previously set up the Porterhouse Brewing Company and pioneered craft brewing in Ireland in 1996. Their first whiskey release was in 2015. They also produce gin and vodka under the Dingle brand. The water used in distillation comes from their own well, pumped up from 70 metres below the distillery.
