Pádraic and Jimín Ó'Griallais are sixth generation Connemara distillers. In 2016 they founded Micil Distillery in Galway, named after their great-great-grandfather Micil Mac Chearra, who began distilling illicit poitín back in 1848.
The Earls Island Single Pot Still release is triple distilled and finished in a combination of ex-Bordeaux Wine Casks and ex-peated whiskey American oak casks. It is non-chill filtered with no added colouring and bottled at 46% abv.
