The Ennis Whiskey Club have organised a series of Irish Brand Ambassador tastings around Ennis again for 2025. Our March event was the Buskers Whiskey range presented by Woody Kane.
Delighted to have Woody come to Ennis to tell us all about the amazing Royal Oak Distillery in Carlow and the Busker range of whiskeys they are producing. They make their own grain whiskey, along with single malt and single pot still. We tasted through their premium range of whiskeys, all bottled at 44.3% abv - the single grain, single malt and single pot still. We followed that with their triple cask blend and their delicious small batch pot still. Woody treated us to a cask sample to round off the evening, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
